Slightly Gigantic Media is led by filmmaker Andrew Johnston, who approaches filmmaking as a relational process first and a creative one second.

We try to create an environment where people don’t feel “on camera” the whole time. When things feel calm and unforced, stories tend to surface on their own. That’s often where the most honest moments come from.

Based in North Alabama, we work alongside non-profits, faith-based organizations, and artists to tell stories rooted in real people and real places. We believe filmmaking is most valuable when it helps people understand one another and share why their work matters in a way that feels true.
