Documentary work is where we’re most at home. It’s our favorite kind of project because of the personal connections and authenticity that come out of it.

A documentary can be a powerful way to build empathy and understanding around your mission or service. It gives viewers a window into real lives, whether that’s someone who represents your organization or, more importantly, the people you exist to serve. A good documentary helps people understand why you do what you do and the kind of impact that work can have.

There’s also longevity in a well-made documentary. When it’s done right and aligned with your brand, it can live far beyond a single campaign and, in many cases, reach even more people over time.

Stylistically, we don’t shy away from honesty. Sometimes that means things feel dark, gritty, or uncomfortable. Other times it looks like joy, relief, or something close to tears. Either way, we’re willing to lean in and let the story be what it needs to be.
