About the Event

David Ashley Trent (Jackson, TN) is an American contemporary Christian artist influenced by folk rock, Americana, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The soulful singer/songwriter has been successful in crafting a body of work that is being praised by a growing number of music enthusiasts: contemporary Christian fans who gravitate towards the raw instrumentation of acoustic and electric guitars, and folk rock fans who crave a lyrical foundation rooted in Biblical scripture.  Trent currently resides in Jackson, Tennessee where he serves as the worship leader for the North campus of Englewood Baptist Church. Trent is committed to increasing the depth, reach, and kingdom impact of the music he makes and is excited about using every opportunity to declare the glory of God through music.

Steventhen Holland is an author, recording artist, passionate worship leader, motivational speaker, national pro-life speaker, and founder of Broken Not Dead Ministries, a non-profit 501(c)3!

He currently lives in Tennessee, with his wife, Rachel and their three beautiful daughters, Isabella, Eliana, and Kadence.

Steventhen obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, in Student Ministry, from King University in Bristol, TN in 2005, where he also played baseball.

He is a Nashville recording artist! He recorded his first EP entitled, Broken Not Dead, which released in September of 2017 and is expecting to release new music in 2019.

He is the author of a book entitled, The Journey: Brokenness to Wholeness, in which he shares his amazing story. His life is the result of the gang-rape of an eighteen-year-old mentally challenged young woman. Incredibly, despite his mother’s lack of intellectual ability, homelessness, and a society that was constantly pressuring her to abort him, he survived.  However, his mother couldn’t care for him and placed him in foster care, where he was later adopted. He wouldn’t be reunited with his birth mother for over twenty-seven years.

Despite the brokenness he has experienced, he travels the country, with his ministry Broken Not Dead, sharing a message of HOPE and RESTORATION for the BROKEN! Steventhen has ministered at many events around the country over the last 15+ years, delivering this powerful message! Some of these events include: church services, men & women’s retreats, student camps/retreats, school assemblies, juvenile detention centers, mentoring programs, abstinence education programs, children’s homes, drug & rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, mental health facilities, pregnancy care center banquets, and more.
